    Is there anything Matcha can't do?          

    No, not really.  

    For more than a thousand years Buddhist monks used matcha to improve afternoon meditation, while Samurais used matcha before battle to increase stamina.  This ancient drink truly benefits mind, body, and soul.  

    We've all heard about the benefits of green tea, Matcha is green tea on steroids. One cup of matcha is equal to 10 cups of green tea with extra benefits that steeped green tea doesn't have.  Technically, it is green tea, but not like you know it.  Matcha literally translates to "powdered tea", which it is.  Green Tea or Camellia sinensis is grown in specific locations and shaded with cloth a few weeks before harvest.  When the tea is shaded it pumps up Chlorophyll, Antioxidants, and L-Theanine production.  Then, the leaves are hand picked and sorted to find only the best, (good matcha is done this way, there is a lot of bad matcha out there) which are then ground into a super fine powder.
